About me
Who am I?
Welcome friend, I'm so glad you're here. My name is Tori, I've been married to my wonderful husband Brandon for 11 years, and together we have two beautiful girls. I am a Christ follower and do my best to live like Jesus.
My husband and I run our own business and we homeschool our girls. We strongly believe in the value of family and strive towards building a life that encourages that.
I am passionate about living well through a healthy low toxic lifestyle. I love taking care of myself and my family in this way, and I enjoy sharing with others what I am learning through my journey.
My background is in musical theater and I taught private voice lessons for 10 years. I love spending time with my friends and family, performing, baking, caring for my plant babies and drinking lots of coffee.
My why
My family grew up pretty close as we were all homeschooled. I come from a family of 4 girls; I am the oldest, with twins in the middle, and then my youngest sister Grace. Grace and I were nine years apart and despite our age gap, we always had a special bond for multiple reasons.
In 2017 my youngest sister Grace was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma cancer. Because of this, it really pushed us to grow even closer very quickly. Grace fought a five year battle with lots of ups and downs, many different kinds of treatments, and lots of hardship. Despite that, she lived a life full of faith, hope and joy.
On August 6th, 2022, Grace went home to Jesus in the peace of her own home.
My Mission
Grace's death has been life altering for me. She was my best friend and apart of most aspects of my life. I miss her everyday.
When she died, I knew that I wanted to carry on her life and legacy. In time, I felt prompted by the Lord to start a space for all grievers and people who need hope and encouragement.
I want people to understand that grieving is not just about death. Many things in life cause us to grieve and I am making it my mission to redefine the stereotypes around grieving. By doing this and offering practical resources, my goal is to encourage you in your healing journey and help you see hope in your life again.
